Lambic beers

Good beer requires love, craftsmanship… and patience. And that certainly applies to lambic beers. The first lambic was brewed in April 2019 and immediately started maturing in oak barrels, but tasting the “new” Eylenbosch Oude Gueuze and Oude Kriek was only possible after years of patience, in January 2021 when the first production was ready. We called it Oude Gueuze Prematuurke because it was not yet made entirely with Eylenbosch lambic. On May 19, 2022, we blended and bottled our first Eylenbosch Oude Gueuze with 100% Eylenbosch lambic, and it has been for sale since October 2023.

Craft beers

During the two years to make our first Oude Gueuze, Eylenbosch could not be a brewery without beer. In anticipation, we therefore brewed top-fermentation craft beers, appropriately named ‘PATIENCE for Eylenbosch’. The first variety created by brewer Klaas was a 5.5% Hoppy Saison. The second variety a Belgian Pale Ale of 6.0 %, a typical Belgian beer and our third, a Special Blond of 6.5 % has been available since January 2021. All our craft beers are made with 100% Belgian-grown hops.
